as with all the previous Halex® Players of the Year, are not restricted to US citizenship.
The six tournaments included in the Halex® 2005 Dart Series are as follows
the 19th annual Virginia Beach Classic – March 18-20, 2005, the Sarantos Retsinas Memorial Quebec Dart Player’s Open – May 13-15, 2005, the USA Dart

As in previous Halex® Dart Series tours, the top male and top female darters who
earn the most BEN Pro Ranking Points (in accordance with the table shown above) from the 501 singles of the six sponsored tournaments will receive an all
expense paid entry into the 2006 Las Vegas Desert Classic V, including round trip travel, accommodations (based on double occupancy), and Halex®
branded tournament apparel to wear during this nationally and internationally televised event.
Each sponsored tournament features a booth demonstrating Halex® products
along with various contests and games players can participate in between tournament matches. Prizes will be awarded to winners throughout the
tournament adding additional excitement to the event. All proceeds raised from the contests will be donated to the designated tournament charities with
a portion going to the ADO Memorial Scholarship Program, helping the host association to contribute to their community needs.
The 2005 Halex® Dart Series has already begun with the 19th annual Virginia
Beach Classic held March 18-20, 2005 at the beautiful Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel. Jumping out in the initial Race to Vegas with the most BEN Pro Ranking Points were Darin Young and Stacy Bromberg. The table below
shows how the current standings with 5 more tournaments to go.
Sean Moran of Boston, MA, showed his prowess on the Halex® BTX-22 when
he beat the CyberPro in a hard fought game of cricket. It took him a few tries to beat the CyberPro, but his efforts paid off by winning one of the 3 models of Halex® BristleTech® dartboards on display.
Players who tried the games could sign up for a chance to win one of the
Barrington BristleTech® electronic dartboards. Winners included Kitty Burke of Charlotte, NC, Debbie DeMarr of Mechanicsville, MD, and Keith Spangler
of Front Royal, VA.
