The Regent Sports Road To Vegas tour
for 2004-05 culminated in Sacramento, CA, with the $10,000 Camellia Classic XXIX, held over the February 18-20, 2005 weekend. It was the final tournament to win BEN Pro Ranking Points for the 2004
-05 Halex® Dart Series.
The 2004-05 Halex® Dart Series included six tournaments held during the
Fall/Winter 2004-05 event season. They included the Peachtree Open, the USA Dart Classic, the Windy City Open, the Choo Choo Classic, the Pennsylvania
Rae Chesney Memorial Open, and the Camellia Classic. The top male and top female earning the most BEN Pro Ranking Points earned a trip to compete
in the $190,000 Las Vegas Desert Classic IV later in June. The final standings are shown in the Halex® Standings for 2004-05 table.
The Halex® Players of the Year for the 2004-05 Halex® Dart Series were Bill
Davis and Marilyn Popp. Both an all expense paid entry into the 2005 Las Vegas Desert Classic IV, including round trip travel, accommodations (based on
double occupancy), and Halex® branded tournament apparel to wear during this nationally and internationally televised event.
Both players were recognized as the 2004-05 Halex® Dart Series Player of the
Year at the Virginia Beach Classic and were awarded their Halex® Player of the Year trophies.
Each sponsored tournament features a booth demonstrating Halex® products
along with various contests and games players can participate in between tournament matches. Prizes are awarded to winners throughout the
tournament adding additional excitement to the event. All proceeds raised from the contests are donated to the designated tournament charities with a portion going
to the ADO Memorial Scholarship Program.
At the final tournament of the 2004-05 Halex® Dart Series, the Camellia Classic
XXIX, David Hoag and Gretel Flores were winners of brand new Halex® BristleTech dartboards.
