Arachnid, Inc.’s 20th Anniversary Tour begins in September with $25,000 added money to make  the Tour a whopping $275,000!  All Qualifying Regionals will have a guaranteed $9,000 payout and the tournaments that are divisionalized, a $10,000  guaranteed payout. Plus, international tournaments have been added to the Tour.

Anxious to be underway, 11 BullShooter Qualifiers have already been set up starting September 24-26 in Saginaw, MI. Other Qualifiers will follow October 8-10 in Seattle, WA; October 22-24 in East Peoria, IL; October 29-31 in Hudson, OH; November 5-7 in Niagara Falls, NY; November 19-21 in Sioux Falls, SD; Janaury 14-16, 2005 in Houston, TX; January 21-23, 2005 in Indianapolis, IN; February 18-20, 2005 in  Pittsburgh, PA; February 25-27, 2005 in Omaha, NE; and March 11-13, 2005 in Dubuque, IA.

New $500 Added Luck Of The Draw

In addition to the increased payout in the main events at BullShooter Regionals, $500 has been added to the Friday Night Luck Of The Draw – that’s 100% payback plus $500! Friday night at 7 p.m. a Draw Doubles  Cricket will be played as a warm-up event to the main events beginning on Saturday.  When there are enough women present, a separate Men’s and Women’s competition will take place.

All events over the weekend are  open to the public. Seven main events start Saturday morning with: Women’s Doubles 301 OI/OO, Men’s Doubles 501 OI/OO, and Pro Men’s Doubles 501 DI/DO.  Then, at 2:00 p.m. the events continue with Mixed Triples 701 OI/DO, Cricket Doubles, Pro/Am Cricket and Women’s Singles 301 OI/OO.

Four events are played on Sunday starting at 11 a.m. with Mixed Cricket. In the afternoon, the events continue with Men’s Cricket  Singles, Pro Cricket Singles and Women’s Doubles Combo.

Players may compete in three events on Saturday and two events on Sunday.  Pro players are eligible to play in as many Qualifying Regionals as they desire.  If they win a second Qualifying Certificate, it will be passed down to  the next player so all players have a chance to qualify. Once an open player has qualified for the BullShooter Finals, he or she is ineligible to play in any future Regionals unless he/she would like to compete in Pro events.

In all main events, first, second and third place winners receive qualifying cards for entry to the BullShooter Finals that will be held over Memorial Day weekend, May 26-30, 2005.  This year’s Finals will also have added money and  exciting prizes.  Many players from all over the world look forward to and attend the BullShooter Finals. It is a full five days of competition and fun! Check out our website for complete information on the BullShooter Tour at www.bullshooter.com or call 800-435-8319.

Arachnid’s Great New Feature!

A great new feature has been added to Arachnid’s Galaxy II dart game.  When the HotButton was first released, it was able to personalize a player’s game by putting their name on the screen and store credits so the player wouldn’t have to keep running for quarters.  Now a player can also use the HotButton for “Casual Mode Handicapping”!

What Is HotButton Casual Mode Handicapping? Casual Mode Handicapping lets any skill level players competed against each other.  HotButton Casual Mode Handicapping is simply where a player’s handicap from league play is transferred from the game to their HotButton and back to a game at their favorite location, where they want to play a friendly game of darts with the bar’s hot shot.  The game automatically will adjust the scores according to both players’ stats from league. Now players can have a competitive game with any player, pro or novice!

What a great feature, and it only takes a few minutes to set up your match.  If you store your handicap on your HotButton, you can play anytime at any location that has a Galaxy II with HotButton Reader. It saves both Cricket and X01 handicaps.

Saving Handicaps to the Player Button can be done in five easy steps:

  1. While in the Player Button Screen, select Set Handicap.
  2. Choose a league to draw the handicap from.
  3. Choose the team the player is on.
  4. Choose the Player.
  5. Touch the Player Button to the HotButton Reader to save. This will save both Cricket and XO1 handicaps!
