Quebec's Verdun Legion, Branch 4 Kid's Dart League

On a Saturday morning in 1959 in the Verdun Legion, Branch 4, kids darts started and incredible run of 43 years of continuous kids darts program. To this day, the success has generated interest among our young players, some of whom have gone on to become reaaly good players, even making our Quebec Team and others on to win the Royal Canadian Legion Provincial events.  Currently, there are over 40 kids ranging in ages from 5 years old to 17 years who regularly compete in the Verdun Legion, Branch 4 kids league. The photo below features many of the kids who braved a serious snow storm to make that night’s competition.

In order to participate in the Verdun Legion, Branch 4 kids league, kids must be in the 5 to 17 years old age range. Play occurs every Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM from the second week of September through the first week of May. All kids need do to join is to come out on Saturday morning.
